Michael has been a founder multiple times and loves seeing startups succeed. He has worked across the spectrum of budgets, from limited to limitless. After realizing the need for an external partner who shared the bottom line goals, he created an agency to do just that. Michael built Acquire with the intention of being a founding partner to all the companies they service, sharing a vested interest in the growth of the business while providing industry-leading data, strategy. and creative.
Previously, Michael co-founded SnapSaves, where he led all marketing initiatives, before the company was acquired by Groupon in 2014. At Groupon, he launched Snap by Groupon where he deployed millions of dollars of ad budget. Michael then went on to lead Groupon’s sales relationships with CPGs, working with Pepsi, P&G, Unilever and Coca-Cola. After leaving Groupon, Michael launched an e-commerce company that generated $500k in revenue by its second month using Facebook video ads.
Michele is a serial entrepreneur and Partner at Acquire. She has started over five businesses and is a venture capitalist on the hit TV Show, Dragons' Den. She is the only Canadian on Forbes' "Millennial on a Mission" list and has been recognized as one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women. Michele and Michael founded SnapSaves together, which was acquired by Groupon in 2014 and have been collaborating ever since.
As a seasoned executive, Andrew is a Partner at Acquire. He has worked with the world’s most prestigious brands including McDonalds, Cirque du Soleil, VISA, and more. Most recently, he served as Vice President at EMERGE Commerce, a global e-commerce conglomerate, where he helped partners grow profitably. Before joining EMERGE, Andrew was Partner/Head of Revenue at Buytopia, from where SnapSaves was launched. With a decade spent working and collaborating with Michele and Michael, Acquire is a natural convergence of the trio's experience.
